Haslar

Marina

The friendly atmosphere at Haslar Marina is supported by the active Haslar Yacht Club, helpful on-site businesses and bars, and the can-do approach of our staff. Some of our berth holders have been with us for more than 20 years, so we must be getting things right! We like to keep things nice for our berth holders and visitors, so we've rebuilt washrooms, dredged, re-wired and painted, and we've got more improvements coming.

685 berths. Visitors are welcome. Electric. Water. Showers. Toilets. Laundry facilities. Supermarket within 5min walk. Chandlery close by. No diesel available. VHF: 80. eMail: berths@haslarmarina.co.uk View or edit details in marina.wiki

"Haslar is on the south coast of England, at the southern tip of Alverstoke, on the Gosport peninsula, Hampshire. It takes its name from Anglo-Saxon hæsel-ōra = "hazel - landing place". It may have been named after a bank of hazel strewn on marshy grounds around Haslar Creek to make it passable and habitable in old times, or merely because hazel grew there." Wikipedia
