A city on the northern coast of Spain close to the French border. Donostia San Sebastian is home to a large sandy beach set in a Cresent bay protected from the Atlantic swell by the eastern mound behind which the old town is built on one side, a small islet in the middle and a but also a further round on the western side of the bay. Th river Urumea runs through the city and exits to the east of the old town.
